前言
[开设目的]
《新编英语教程》是英语专业的一门专业技能主干课程, 其目的在于培养和提高学生综合运用英语的能力。本课程主要是通过语言基础训练与篇章讲解分析, 使学生逐步提高语篇阅读理解能力,了解英语 各种文体的表达方式和特点, 扩大词汇量和熟悉英语常用句型, 具备基本的口头与笔头表达能力,并初步达到大纲规定的听、说 、 读、写、译等技能的要求。
[教学要求]
本课程通过课堂教学与课外作业等活动, 全面训练学生的综合英语运用能力。整个课程跨越 4 学 期, 分 4 册教材完成, 平均每册 18 单元, 每个单元 6学时, 主要内容包括 语音、语法、词汇、听力、口语、阅读、写作、翻译和工具书的使用等, 每课都配有大量的相关练习。
本大纲的制定,主要反映高等教学的基本理论和思维方式,注意其科学性和严谨性,并注意理论与实际相结合的原则。
